London opened in 1994, ten years after the firm first began sending lawyers across the Atlantic on secondment and long enough after that experiment for the partnership to be certain it was not a fashion.
Thirty-eight lawyers practice English law here across corporate, arbitration, and real estate and infrastructure. The office leads the firm's international arbitration work, and the arbitration team is deliberately split between London and Singapore so that a tribunal seated in either place is served by lawyers who practice there rather than by lawyers who travel there.
Bellwether Yard sits between Fleet Street and the Royal Courts of Justice, in a converted printworks the firm took on a twenty-five-year lease in 2016.
