Fund formation and licensing for managers raising capital across Asian jurisdictions.
Amara Boateng advises fund managers on formation, licensing, and cross-border distribution across Asian markets, and on the regulatory obligations that follow a first close rather than precede it.
She works most often with managers raising institutional capital for the first time, where the questions are less about fund terms than about which jurisdictions the manager can lawfully market into and what it will cost to maintain that position each year.
She joined the firm's Singapore office in 2018 and was appointed counsel in 2024.
